Heya! I'm Billie, an entertainment and lifestyle journalist based in Sydney.
Throughout my career, my work has spanned print and digital, with bylines across international publications including Yahoo UK, Newsweek, Cosmopolitan, POPSUGAR, Metro.co.uk, Business Insider and Stylist. I have also spoken on BBC Radio.
At the heart of my work is a curiosity about people—whether that’s through pop culture, entertainment, politics or where they overlap.
I’ve interviewed women who have been stalked and sex trafficked, investigated alleged abuse at Nickelodeon, and examined the cultural impact of the entertainment world. Along the way, I’ve had fun interviewing the likes of Katherine Ryan, Ben Stiller, Jude Law and Brenda Song.
A little bit more about me…
After studying Media (Communications & Journalism) at UNSW, I joined the Astray writing internship in Bali. Days were spent being given writing tutelage focused on travel and digital media, as well as cross-cultural language training.
Once back home, I scored a job at Daily Mail Australia where I cut my teeth as a lifestyle reporter for Femail. Here, my articles went viral internationally, and I was featured as a presenter in their Only in Australia video series on Facebook.
After trading Sydney’s beaches for the hustle and bustle of London in 2019, I worked for various media publications, including the ones mentioned above. Then, in May 2026, I decided it was time to return home and bring my skills with me.
I dress how I live (as colourfully as possible), enjoy extra dirty vodka martinis (no vermouth, please) and love to spend my weekends dancing the night away.
