Hello!

I've wanted to be a writer for as long as I can remember. As a little girl, I spent my free time writing stories and making my own magazines, never imagining that one day I'd get to build a career around the thing I loved most.

Today, I'm a culture, entertainment and lifestyle journalist with more than eight years of experience.

Over the years, my work has ranged from interviewing women who have survived stalking and sex trafficking to investigating allegations of abuse at Nickelodeon and exploring the cultural impact of the entertainment industry.

I've also had the privilege of interviewing everyone from Katherine Ryan, Ben Stiller and Jude Law to Brenda Song, alongside years spent reporting on lifestyle, travel and relationships.

After studying Media (Communications & Journalism) at UNSW, I completed the Astray travel writing internship in Bali, where I received mentorship in travel and digital journalism while undertaking cross-cultural language training.

Back in Sydney, I landed my first newsroom role at Daily Mail Australia, cutting my teeth as a lifestyle reporter for Femail and doing on-camera pieces for the Facebook series Only In Australia.

In 2019, I traded Sydney's beaches for London's hustle and bustle. The next seven years were spent working across some of the UK's biggest publications, including Yahoo UK, Newsweek, Reach PLC, Metro, and POPSUGAR.

In May 2026, I packed up my London life and moved back home to Sydney, bringing plenty of stories with me.

When I'm not chasing deadlines, you'll probably find me writing personal essays for my newsletter, Billie's Baby, where I share stories about identity, moving home, and figuring out life in your thirties.
